When I escaped my shelter
Sky ridiculed me
And turn red with anger
With unfathomable hatred
I was dazed and tired
Cluelessly looking around
Searching for answers
In waves of sand
Or directions
Or any sign
Even the faintest
Would’ve helped
But nothing happened
I felt like an ant
Lost in ocean
And heavyheartedly
He turned his back on me
Transcending into
Cold tones of darkness..

Dan, your poetry is sometimes dark. I guess you are in that mood again.

“Red sky at night, sailor’s delight”… Nonetheless, I would feel a spectre of menace, at such a red sky, any time of day.

It’s been like this since 2 3 day. At sunset it’s getting pink then red..looks beautiful.

This is, at times, how night’s forthcoming feels like. Thank goodness for sunrises!
