I woke up to the
playful capering
Of beady raindrops on my window
Breaking from slumber felt great
With rain pushing the pain into limbo
I dressed my body with care
And fed my soul with coffee
The day shone like a pearl
And I listened to my favorite poetry
But when have things been so kind?
Life yet again hit me with a bang
My fine garden of white flowers
Turned into a morbid graveyard again
Same tremors clinking my shoulders
Same needles piercing my heart
Somebody have got to help me
I am tired of dragging this heavy rusty cart
I went to my bed again,
And buried my head in already sunken pillow
The blanket still ruffled from last night
I felt like a weeping willow
Then how long do I wait
For the fate to have mercy on me
Every day is a rollercoaster ride
Every cell screams “set me free”
