I kick stated 2020 with a new record.
I slept for.. let me count.. 10 and a half hours!!
Look!!
So I have no clue when I fell asleep it was like how john green describes it.
No.. it was more like my mind screaming fuck you and slamming the door on face.
Because I have exhausted every brain cell of mine.
I think I woke up at 5 am something. But then my mind was like…”no not now, it’s not even your normal sleeping time”
Then 8 am something..”cmon, we are not going to work today, don’t be a sadist”
Then 9 am something I tried to move my limbs..”no remember you walk 1 and half hour everyday for work, you need a break… and all the shitty unavoidable work politics..”
The 11:30 am I remember checking my phone more maybe that when it assumed I wake awake when actually my brain was like.. “not yet, you need more sleep you earned it. We barely sleep 4 hours a night”
So.. actually I remember fully waking up at 1:00
So that’s not 10 and a half hours… that’s actually 13 and a half hours. How’s that for a great start!!
Why am I near a bear.. I’m totally capable of hibernation.
Well.
Good news. I have successfully switched to new workplace. Not really happy with salary but I’m negotiating on designation, which will be more helpful in the long run.
And the best part, these new employers are not really into my blog and all it’s a different position so I can write freely!! Yayyyy meeeee!
Be aware of huge avalanches of rants and theatre level drama!!
No filters people… today I’m free!
So yea.

There is nothing like a good night’s sleep. However my body is conditioned to wake up at 8 am regardless of when I go to sleep. I’m usually up before that anyway. If the alarm on my phone doesn’t wake me up, the little alarm in the next room does.

my brain has an alarm of every 3 to 4 hours and it everytime it feels i must have slept 10 hours already. 8 hours sleep in one go is a dream is a dream i swear.

Sometimes the brain and body need long hours of sleep! Happy you got good rest. I want that too!!! Hard with little people poking you to wake up or screaming ‘I’m hungry.’ lol

I don’t know either! But you do it anyways. It’s a great role with many challenges. As I’m trying this, my kid is upset with me about a broken toy. oyyyyy…it’s going to be a long day.
