I really wanna say something.
We had a little celebration at work on International Women’s Day and since I joined just few days back I avoided giving a comment. Wanna read the room probably before being too vocal about my opinions.
So, like always I will say here, what I’m saying anywhere else…
I have lived through an exhaustive laundry of challenges, unfortunate events and trauma resulting from those.
I always thought I got along better with my guy friends and conversations with them were more fluid.
But for last few years I have realized, it was my girl gang who stuck by me the most.
They fiercely believed in me and supported me.
It was them who kept pushing me when I had no energy to fight for myself. And kept telling me there are better days ahead that are worth living for.
And trust me it’s very difficult to put yourself first when you are not used to it.
The world always expect sacrifices and adjustment from us and we are judged when we decide not to do them, which should be normal.
Here, I will just say. Please stick togather.
Be there for each other. The girlpower is as relevant as girlgangpower.
You can help save and build a live, what else is more important than that?
We all are capable of doing great things, we just need need other to push us forward, not pull us down.
I love you all!

I really like this part of your writing.
“And trust me it’s very difficult to put yourself first when you are not used to it.

I feel a sense of shared understanding that will move me forwards and make people’s life better.
